Wild Hearts Shows Its Karakuri

EA and Koei Tecmo released new media for action RPG Wild Hearts. The new screenshots and a new gameplay trailer showcase the Karakuri, ancient technology that players use to help them hunt down the dangerous Kemono. Karakuri come in many forms, letting players set traps, attack or dodge foes, or traverse the world, and can be combined together for further uses.

Developed by Omega Force, Wild Hearts takes place in a world inspired by feudal Japan that is beset by magically-infused beasts known as Kemono. Their presence is destroying the land and players are tasked with restoring the balance of nature. Players will do so by combating them solo or in teams of up to three, utilizing the Karakuri. The game is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 17, 2023, and will feature cross-play across all platforms.
