We Who Are About to Die Released on Early Access

Developer Jordy Lakiere has released gladiatorial roguelite RPG We Who Are About to Die on Steam Early Access. The Early Access version is available for $21.99 with a 10% launch discount. The initial release includes the game’s major core features, with the game expected to spend at least eight-to-twelve months in Early Access.

We Who Are About to Die puts players in control of a single gladiator attempting to work their way up from the Pits to the Arena through to becoming a legendary fighter in the Grand Stadium. The game feature numerous routes to success, with players able to encounter random events, choose their matches, expand their gladiator school, bribe others for information, and more. It features a modular equipment system with a physics-based combat system.
