RPG Maker Fes Servers Closing in March

NIS America confirmed that the servers for development suite RPG Maker Fes will shut down on March 31, 2023. The closure of the servers comes alongside the closure of the Nintendo 3DS eShop around the same date. After the closure, players will no longer be able to download RPG Maker Fes games.

RPG Maker Fes is a Nintendo 3DS-specific version of the RPG Maker development suite series. It was released in Japan by Kadokawa Games in 2016, with NIS America releasing it in North America and Europe in 2017. Users can create RPGs using various included assets and tools before sharing them with others. Individual games can be downloaded and played for free with the RPG Maker Player Nintendo 3DS app.
