Three More Atelier Ryza 3 Allies Introduced

Koei Tecmo released new screenshots and information for Gust’s Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. The update shows many of the new locations and ways of exploring players will encounter in the game, while introducing three new allies Ryza will be able to call upon in the game.

The three new characters join returning support character Bos Brunnen among the eleven characters available to recruit into the party. The first is Federica Lamberti, who is the deupty head of the crafting union in the city of Sardonica. She is strong-minded and wears a pendant that looks like a gate Ryza previously encountered. Caught up in a dispute between two factions in the city, she joins Ryza’s group as part of her attempt to act as a mediator.

The second character is Dian Farrell, a young boy Ryza meets in the village of Faurre. He is part of a group known as Gleaner, whose members collect Seeds of Light to power the tools used in the village. These Seeds of Light are found in the nearby ruins by digging up past legacies. Dian is unhappy with doing this, and chooses to join Ryza to find a new life for himself. Finally, Kala Ideas appears to be a half-human, half-animal girl. While she looks young, she is actually over a thousand years old and is looking for a legend while appearing to know information about the mysterious gates and the “Code of the Universe” that Ryza’s quest revolves around.

The third entry in the Secret sub-series, Atelier Ryza 3 takes place a year after Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, with Reisalin “Ryza” Stout returning as protagonist. While Ryza and her friends enjoy a peaceful life on Kurken Island, they learn about a new group of islands that have mysteriously appeared. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on February 24, 2023. A limited physical Premium Box edition is available to pre-order through NIS America’s online store in North America, while in Europe limited Premium Box and Special Collector’s Box editions are available from Koei Tecmo’s European online store.
