Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.

Adventure RPG Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is set in a world inspired by Ancient Greece and Rome. It takes place around the cursed, monster-infested city of Aphes and stars Hilda, a warrior in the Northwind Legion in search of her father. As she ventures through the city, she learns more about its curse through sidequests and documents while filling out her own diary.


Astlibra Revision

Astlibra Revision is a 2D action RPG developed by studio KEIZO over the last fourteen years. The game is described as an ode to classic hack-and-slash sidescrollers and follows the protagonist and his talking bird companion Karon as they travel through time to find a girl that the protagonist met during his childhood. It is split into multiple chapters, with players able to customise their character build and play style through upgradable skills and equipment, plus different weapon types.


Lost Eidolons

Tactical RPG Lost Eidolons is set on the continent of Artemesia. Formerly home to seven kingdoms, the entire continent now falls under the dominion of Emperor Ludivictus. Players control Eden, a mercenary from the village of Lonetta, who becomes involved in the rising flames of rebellion. The game features grid-based combat that makes use of terrain and unit positioning, with players able to recruit new characters by raising affinity with NPCs and improve existing party members through training and sidequests.


Sunday Gold

Point-and-click, turn-based RPG Sunday Gold is set in a near future dystopian London with high unemployment and homelessness, while the rich maintain their power with unethical practices. Players control a rag-tag group of criminals as they attempt to stop the schemes of corrupt billionaire Kenny Hogan. The game features 2D cinematic and comic book-inspired narrative sequences, as well as investigative gameplay. The Last Oricru

The Last Oricru is a third-person action RPG where the player awakens in a medieval sci-fi world on the brink of war. The game places heavy emphasis on choice and consequences with many factions to side with or betray. It also includes online and local split-screen two-player co-op.


The Witch’s House MV

Horror RPG The Witch’s House MV is a remake of 2012 title The Witch’s House that includes remastered visuals as well as additional difficulty options. The original game was using the RPG Maker VX creation suite, with the remake made using RPG Maker MV. The game has a heavy emphasis on puzzle-solving and jump scares as players try to help Viola escape from a trap-filled house.


Triangle Strategy

Platform: PC (previously released on Nintendo Switch)

Triangle Strategy is a turn-based tactical RPG featuring Square Enix’s HD-2D graphical style. It follows protagonist Serenoa Wolffort and his companions as they become embroiled in a conflict between three rival empires over the continent of Norzelia’s resources following the Saltiron War. Free-to-play action RPG Undecember is set in the world of Traum. The world has twelve divine beings that rose from a light in the void and are worshipped as gods. However, a thirteenth god, Serpens, was born and brought darkness to the world. Players act as Rune Hunters, adventurers who aim to prevent the resurrection of Serpens and the return of darkness.
