New Release Round-Up (January 21, 2021)

Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week.

Ocean’s Heart

Ocean’s Heart is a top-down adventure RPG. The game follows a young woman named Tilia, who sets out on her adventure after her father is kidnapped by the pirate Blackbeard. Her journey goes through numerous locations where she comes across items and weapons that she can use to explore, fight, solve puzzles, and uncover secrets along the way.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen is a remake of the first game in the visual novel/tactical RPG series that originally released in 2002 in Japan. The game stars Hakuowlo, a man with amnesia who is trying to find his place in the world while embracing his destiny. Loot Hero DX

Originally released for PC in 2015, Loot Hero DX is a 2D arcade RPG now available on consoles. The game puts players in control of a hero aiming to defeat the legendary dragon after it razes towns and its power causes evil creatures to be resurrected into the world.

Skul: The Hero Slayer

Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action 2D roguelite fully launching after spending nearly a year in Early Access. The game sees skeletal hero Skul single-handedly taking on the Imperial Army after they mount an attack on the Demon King’s castle and take all of the other demons prisoner.
