Asterigos: Curse of the Stars Gets Extended Gameplay Look
Acme Gamestudio and tinyBuild have released a new gameplay trailer for Asterigos: Curse of the Stars. The five-minute video provides an overview of the different modes of gameplay on offer. As the protagonist Hilda, players will be able to equip two of six weapons at a time, each with a different play style. She will also be able to imbue weapons with elemental properties and cast magic spells that add to the variety of combat. Many of the enemies of the game, including a few bosses, are also shown.
Inspired by Greek and Roman mythology, Asterigos is an action RPG that has players exploring the city of Aphes, once a seat of political and economic power brought low by a terrible curse that has transformed its denizens into monsters. Players must explore the ruined city to discover the secrets at the heart of the curse and seek to undo it. The game is set to launch on October 11, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. A demo is currently available as a part of Steam Next Fest.
