Steelrising Update to Add New Game Plus

Spiders and NACON have announced a free update for action RPG Steelrising. The update will release on September 29, 2022, and adds a New Game Plus mode. The mode lets players carry over character progress into a higher level difficulty, with the New Game Plus also adding four new weapons, a new outfit, and new enemy variants. The update will also add an Assist mode, which lets players change difficulty options during a playthrough.

Steelrising is set in 1789 in an alternate version of the French Revolution, where King Louis XVI has an army of clockwork automatons at his command, which are are rampaging through the city of Paris while crushing the insurrection. Players control Aegis, a former dancing automation now acting as Queen Marie Antoinette’s bodyguard, trying to stop the bloodshed at the Queen’s command. Steelrising is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
