RPG Developer Bakin Hitting Early Access in October

Developer SmileBoom announced that its game creation suite RPG Developer Bakin will release on Steam Early Access on October 4, 2022. It will be available for $69.99, with three DLC resource packs also available: the Western Pack ($39.99), the Ancient Pack ($34.99), and the Modern City Pack ($29.99). The development suite is expected to spend around a year in Early Access, with the developer planning to add additional features and tools during the Early Access period.

RPG Developer Bakin is said to let players create their own RPGs without any prior programming knowledge. Features include a 3D map editor, audio and visual assets, a character status database, and the ability for users to import their own assets. The map editor will include features like weather patterns, time of day, fog, lighting, and depth of focus, and an event editor will make use of function panels that trigger certain actions such as changing locations and looting chests.
