The Ascent Prepares for a Cyber Heist

Curve Games and Neon Giant have announced new DLC for action RPG The Ascent. The Ascent: Cyber Heist will release for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on August 18, 2022, priced at $9.99/€9.99/£7.99.

Cyber Heist takes place after the events of the main campaign and is available in both single-player and co-op. It sees players taking on a new job from Kira, where they venture into a new arcology owned by the Malhorst-Gelb Group. It includes new weapons, new locations, and new side quests.

In addition, Curve Games and Neon Giant announced a new physical Cyber Edition for the game. The Ascent Cyber Edition includes the base game, plus the Cyber Warrior, Cyber Sec, and Cyber Heist DLC, and will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 2, 2022. It is priced at $44.99/€44.99/£36.99 and is available to pre-order from multiple retailers.

The Ascent is set in a corporation-run arcology following the collapse of the Ascent Group that owned the city and all of its denizens. This causes the automated security to run haywire, while other corporations and gangs look to assert control. Players investigate exactly what happened, ascending the arcology while improving their character’s skill and picking up loot.
