Action RPG The Ascent Revealed
During the Xbox Inside showcase, Curve Digital and Neon Giant announced The Ascent. The game is a top-down action RPG with co-op for up to four players and is set to launch for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in 2020.
The Ascent is set in a corporation-run arcology, but The Ascent Group that owns the city and all of its denizens has just collapsed. This causes the automated security to run haywire, while other corporations and gangs look to assert control. Players investigate exactly what happened, ascending the arcology while improving their character’s skill and picking up loot.
