Drova – Forsaken Kin Re-Opens Its Arena

Developer Just2D and publisher Deck13 are inviting players to lend a hand in testing out several aspects of upcoming action RPG Drova – Forsaken Kin. As part of a playable teaser available via Steam, a limited-time event called Arena Season 3 is available until June 30, 2022. Players will be able to experience the game’s battle system, test out its spells and weapons, and leave feedback to help shape the game’s development. A pool of cash prizes will be divvied up amongst the three top scorers, who will win €100, €50, and €25, respectively. Additionally, the teaser includes a playable quest chain, with the first player to complete it becoming a NPC in the final game.

Drova – Forsake Kin is a pixel art action RPG inspired by Celtic mythology. It is set in a world where the power to capture the spirits that govern nature and rule over them instead has been rediscovered. Players take on the role of a novice of the Order faction, and must brave dangerous landscapes, fulfill tasks, fight, trade, and take a side in a conflict of factions to survive. The game will not include quest markers or minimaps, forcing players to study their environment and use the surrounding clues to reveal its mysteries. Drova is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. No release date has yet been announced.
