New Release Round-Up (April 14, 2022)

Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases where the game is still in development.


13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a sci-fi RPG that follows thirteen students across several different time periods amidst an invasion by alien forces. The game is divided between story-heavy adventure sections and real-time strategy combat where the students fight against the invaders in giant mechs called Sentinels. Seafaring roguelite RPG Maritime Calling fully released after half a year in Early Access. The game casts players as captain of a ship tasked with claiming unexplored, resource-rich lands for the crown. Players need to manage their ship and crew, assigning them tasks while dealing with the dangers of the ocean.


Nobody Saves the World

Platform: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch (previously released on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S)

Action RPG Nobody Saves the World sees players transforming among fifteen-plus forms including rat, rogue, and robot as they go through procedurally-generated dungeons. Players can combine abilities from different forms, with each form getting its own set of quests. The PlayStaton and Nintendo Switch release is joined by a free update to all versions that adds local co-op to the game on top of its initial online co-op option.


Ragnarok: The Lost Memories

Ragnarok: The Lost Memories is a free-to-play successor to Ragnarok Online. The game follows Perr, a swordsman who awakens on Mount Mjolnir without his memories. It features a card-based combat system, as well as an idle system that lets players earn gold, materials, loot, and experience without being active in the game.
