Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Story DLC, Console Delay Announced

Owlcat Games and META Publishing announced the first story DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The Inevitable Excess takes place prior to the game’s finale and sees players leaving Golarion to prevent the space-time continuum from collapsing. It will release for PC on February 15, 2022, and will be available to purchase individually in addition to being included in the game’s Season Pass.

The companies also announced that the game’s console release has been delayed. Previously set to release in March 2022, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One games will now release sometime in fall 2022.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is the follow-up to Owlcat’s previous game, Pathfinder: Kingmaker. The game features both real-time and turn-based combat modes, and originally released for PC in September 2021. Set in the Pathfinder universe, Wrath of the Righteous features a new campaign as players are tasked with repelling an incursion of demons from the Worldwound.
