Dysmantle

Open-world survival RPG Dysmantle is set on an island that is trapped in time somewhere, between the 1970s and 1990s, following a disaster. Players emerge from an underground shelter appearing to be the only survivor. They must survive using the resources and tools around them and uncover the island’s mysteries to eventually escape.


Empire of Ember

Action RPG Empire of Ember puts players in control of a former wizard’s apprentice after their home city is razed in a surprise attack during which their master is killed. Taking charge, players can rebuild the city and rule it, leading armies into battles involving up to a hundred units.


Ephemeral Tale

Ephemeral Tale is a turn-based RPG inspired by classic JRPGs. The game spent around a year in Early Access and includes multiple control and difficulty settings as well as other accessibility options. It tasks players with exploring dungeons and other environments while they search for those with the power to rewrite fate.


Expeditions: Rome

Expeditions: Rome puts players in the role of a customised Legatus in the late Roman Republic. After their father is murdered by a political opponent, players escape Rome and join a campaign to subdue a Greek rebellion. As they strengthen their position and abilities, players have the opportunity to make numerous choices that affect how the game’s story plays out. Labyrinth Legend

Labyrinth Legend is a hack-and-slash action RPG. The game has players controlling a lone adventurer from one of three classes entering a monster-filled labyrinth said to contain a lost treasure. The Nintendo Switch version includes a new dungeon, more story elements, additional items, the new Nightcrawler class, and online co-op.


Nobody Saves the World

Platform: PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S

Action RPG Nobody Saves the World sees players transforming among fifteen-plus forms including rat, rogue, and robot as they go through procedurally-generated dungeons. Players can combine abilities from different forms, with each form getting its own set of quests. It includes two player co-op and New Game+ modes.


RPGolf Legends

RPGolf Legends is an action RPG that has players go on a golfing adventure in a world full of monsters. The game is a follow-up to RPGolf, which released on Android and iOS in 2017 and on PC via Steam in 2018. It features six different environments, a class system, and side content including fishing and crafting.


River City Girls

Platform: PlayStation 5 (previously released on Nintendo Switch)

Beat-’em-up River City Girls is a spin-off to the Kunio-kun brawler series starring Misaki and Ryoko, who set out to rescue regular Kunio-kun protagonists Kunio and Riki. Two related titles are also planned for release later this year: River City Girls 2 is a sequel adding Kunio, Riki, Marian, and Provie as playable characters alongside other features. River City Girls Zero is a Nintendo Switch port of Japanese-only Super Famicom title Shin Nekketsu Koha: Kunio-tachi no Banka.


Watcher Chronicles

Platform: PC, Mac

2D action RPG Watcher Chronicles takes place in Purgatory, where a group of evil beings known as the Watchers attempt to turn it into a new Hell. Players fight against enemies, including twenty-plus bosses, in challenging combat as they adventure through its interconnected locations. The game includes two-player local co-op and a new game plus mode.
