Spire of Sorcery Adds Story Mode

Developer Charlie Oscar released a new major update for its Steam Early Access title Spire of Sorcery. The update adds the first chapter of the game’s story mode, which will be three chapters in total. Story mode features hand built maps and story-based encounters with multiple chapter arcs. The first chapter comes with three separate stories, each containing choices that affect their outcome. The update also includes some UI reworks, visual upgrades, and quality-of-life improvements.

Spire of Sorcery is a turn-based party RPG set on the fantasy world on Rund. The game mixes strategy, exploration, and roguelite elements, with the world described as being too large to fully explore in a single playthrough and every challenge having multiple solutions. Players control a group of mages looking to escape from the Inquisition while gaining resources, knowledge, and power.
