The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition Now Available
Bethesda Softworks has released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition. The release is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S for $49.99. Marking the tenth anniversary of the original game’s release, the Anniversary Edition includes all three expansions plus over 500 pieces of content from the Creation Club, an in-game store that adds new content accessed by spending credits paid for with real-world money. Those who own the Special Edition will receive four pieces of Creation Club content — Saints & Seducers, Rare Curios, Survival Mode, and Fishing — free of charge.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions released in 2016, with a Nintendo Switch release following in 2017. The game is an open-world RPG that takes players to the icy province of Skyrim in the north of Tamriel. Players control a customised character known as the Dragonborn on a quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater while also undertaking numerous quests and activities around Skyrim as they see fit.
