Skyrim Anniversary Edition Releasing in November

As part of its upcoming tenth anniversary celebrations for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda Softworks announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition. The Anniversary Edition will release on November 11, 2021, and include the full game, all three expansions, and over 500 pieces of content from the Creation Club, an in-game store that adds new content accessed by spending credits paid for with real-world money. The release of the Anniversary Edition will also see the launch of dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game, which will be available as free upgrades to those who already own the respective PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions alongside a paid upgrade option for the Anniversary Edition content.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions released in 2016, with a Nintendo Switch version released in 2017. The game is an open-world RPG that takes players to the icy province on Skyrim in the north of Tamriel. Players control a customised character known as the Dragonborn on a quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater while also undertake numerous quests and activities around Skyrim as they see fit.
