Keylocker Receives New Gameplay Video

During The Mix Next 2021 digital event, developer Moonana released a new gameplay video for Keylocker. Narrated by the game’s director, the video features two minutes of footage and gives a quick introduction to the game’s premise and setting, a future Saturn where music is strictly prohibited. It also shows the game’s turn-based combat system with quick-time elements that sees players balancing their life points and electricity points to emerge victorious.

Keylocker follows Bobo, who is a Doppelganger, twins that are born to be perfect fits for particular societal castes. However, Bobo fights against her position in the lowest caste, forming her own band in rebellion against the Saturnian Satellites that act as the ultimate law. The game is in development for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 with a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign ending last month. A demo is currently available to download via Steam.
