Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars Receives New Pre-Release Media
Idea Factory International released new media and information for Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars. The publisher released the game’s opening movie as well as some new English combat screenshots and details.
The game is an action RPG where players activate Ninja Art Skills using their stamina gauge. Combat slows down while players are selecting their skills, with favourite skills assigned to the controller’s face buttons. Players can chain together skills to activate a Ninja Art Trigger that can boost their effectiveness up to four stages. Players can also activate a Shinobi Extreme special attack when the EX gauge is maxed out, as well as a special Fuurinkazan Drive mode available that can be used whenever desired, but can only be activated a certain number of times within each dungeon.
Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars is a crossover spin-off between the Neptunia and Senran Kagura series. Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars takes place in the Game Ninja World, where two nations (featuring Neptunia’s Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert and Senran Kagura’s Asuka, Homura, Yumi, and Miyabi) are battling through their respective ninja schools for dominance before the world is invaded by a machine army. The game will launch on PlayStation 4 in North America on October 26, 2021, with the European release following on October 29, 2021.
