Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Announced

At the most recent Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced that it would be releasing an expansion for Monster Hunter Rise. The expansion, titled Sunbreak, received a brief teaser trailer alongside the announcement that it would be a paid expansion releasing in summer 2022. It will include new locales, monsters, hunting actions, and hunter ranks.

Released on the Nintendo Switch earlier this year, Monster Hunter Rise is the most recent game in the long-running franchise. It introduced two major new features to the series: the wire-bug and Wyvern Riding. For more information on the game, readers Phillip Willis’ review.
