New Release Round-Up (July 1, 2021)

Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases.

Alphadia Genesis 2

Alpha Genesis 2 is a retro-styled RPG and follow-up to Alphadia Genesis but featuring a new setting and cast. The game features 2D graphics for exploration and 3D graphics for its turn-based battles.

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny

Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is the newest entry in the Disgaea tactical RPG series. The game follows Zed, a zombie who has a special technique that helps him best the current world-shattering threat, the God of Destruction. It includes a blend of new and old classes with which players can create their own armies.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

2D action RPG Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is set in a world where strange rain causes people to turn undead. The game stars Lily, the last surviving priestess, who awakens in a church with no knowledge of recent events. She explores the surroundings of her sanctuary to find the source of the rain, summoning purified undead to protect her.

GreedFall Gold Edition

GreedFall is an action RPG set in a 17th-century-inspired world ravaged by an incurable disease. The game sees players taking control of an explorer of Teer Fradee, a recently discovered island that may hold the key to curing the illness. The Gold Edition comes with the game and its newly-released The De Vespe Conspiracy expansion.
