Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass First Wave Launching This Week

Nintendo announced that the first wave of content for the Expansion Pass to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will release on June 18, 2021. Titled Pulse of the Ancients, the content includes a new playable character — the Battle-Tested Guardian — as well as a new Flail weapon type for Link and Master Cycle weapon type for Zelda. It will also add new challenges for the Royal Ancient Lab, more challenging enemies, and the Apocalyptic difficulty level. The second wave of Expansion Pass content, Guardian of Remembrance, is planned for release in November 2021.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is set 100 years prior to the events of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game is developed by Omega Force and is an action RPG that allows players to pick between numerous characters who are tasked with battling waves of enemies.
