Demon Gaze Extra Announced

Kadokawa Games has announced Demon Gaze Extra. The game is an enhanced version of Experience Inc.-developed dungeon-crawler Demon Gaze, with the Extra version being worked on by developer Cattle Call. Demon Gaze Extra will launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 2, 2021.

Demon Gaze was originally released for PlayStation Vita in Japan in 2013, with NIS America releasing the game in North America and Europe in 2014. The game is set thousands of years after the events of Students of Round — which was recently remade as Saviors of Sapphire Wings — and follows Oz, a young man who has a magic eye capable of sealing demons. A follow-up, Demon Gaze II, was released in Japan in 2016 and in North America and Europe in 2017. The Extra version of Demon Gaze will include improved graphics and controls, as well as currently unspecified new elements.
