The Caligula Effect 2 Gets More Japanese Media

FuRyu released some new screenshots and videos for The Caligula Effect 2. The three new videos follow the previous introductions to individual members of the antagonistic Obbligato Musicians, with this batch featuring Kranke, Kudan, and Bluffman.

The game is a follow-up to The Caligula Effect, which later received an enhanced remake titled The Caligula Effect: Overdose. Players control a student in a virtual academy in the world of Redo, a self-proclaimed “paradise” governed by a virtual idol called Regret. They join a resistance called the Go-Home Club to fight against Regret and the Obbligato Musicians, and escape Redo. The Caligula Effect 2 is set to release in Japan for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on June 24, 2021, with a western release courtesy of NIS America scheduled for sometime in the fall of 2021.
