Kickstarter Check-In: Lost Eidolons

Ocean Drive Studio has begun a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for Lost Eidolons. The game is a strategy RPG set on the continent of Artemesia. Formerly home to seven kingdoms, the entire continent now falls under the dominion of Emperor Ludivictus.

Players control Eden, a mercenary from the village of Lonetta, who becomes involved in the rising flames of rebellion. The game features grid-based combat that makes use of terrain and unit positions, with players able to recruit new characters by raising affinity with NPCs and improve existing party members through training and sidequests.

Lost Eidolons will feature full English voice acting, with text language support for English, Korean, Russian, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese (potentially more to be added in future). The game will feature 27 story chapters, with an Early Access version planned to launch later this year containing the first 16 chapters.

Ocean Drive Studio is looking for $45,000 in funding, with the campaign set to run until May 21, 2021. Those who pledge at least $30 will receive a digital copy of the game as part of their backer rewards, with a limited number of $25 tier pledges also available at the time of writing. Lost Eidolons is in development for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, with other platforms under consideration.
