Mortal Shell Next Generation Versions Announced

Developer Cold Symmetry and publisher Playstack announced dedicated PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of action RPG Mortal Shell. The versions, titled Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition, will launch digitally on March 4, 2021. The Enhanced Edition costs $29.99 and owners of the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version will be able to upgrade to the respective PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X version for free. A physical $39.99 Deluxe Edition will be available from retailers sometime in spring 2021 (as well as a standard physical edition) and include a 140-page art book, reversible cover, and art postcards.

Mortal Shell is an action Souls-like RPG where players possess the bodies of fallen warriors, using their shells as they navigate and battle across a desolate world. Each shell has its own combat style, with new talents and upgrades becoming available as players’ connections with them grow. The game released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2020.
