Neptunia ReVerse Gets Title, Western Release Announcement

Idea Factory International has announced its plans for the western release of Compile Heart’s Go! Go! 5 Jigen Game Neptunia: re★Verse. Releasing under the title Neptunia ReVerse, the game is heading to PlayStation 5 in Europe and North America sometime in 2021, and is a new version of the original PlayStation 3 Hyperdimension Neptunia title largely based on the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 remake originally released for PlayStation Vita and later ported to PC. Additionally, several features have been confirmed, such as a UI overhaul, a new fishing mini-game, craftable equipment, a party-size increase from three to four, and a new Arrange Mode that allows players to choose from over twenty playable characters.

The game takes place in the world of Gamindustri, which is made up of four nations, each protected by its own Goddess: Planeptune, ruled by Neptune; Lastation, ruled by Noire; Lowee, ruled by Blanc; and Leanbox, ruled by Vert. During the Console War, Neptune was cast down and lost her powers. Now she must fight to restore her rightful place.
