Dystopian Game Show RPG Lethal Running Announced for Early Access

German developer voodoosoft has announced that it will be bringing its dystopian roguelite Lethal Running to Steam Early Access. The Early Access version will be available for PC via Steam beginning on January 15, 2021. An exact full release date has not yet been revealed.

Lethal Running is an RPG about a futuristic game show that takes place in a dystopian world. Inspired by such works as The Running Man, the game sees players star in a brutal game show, having to defend themselves against bounty hunters as well as survive the harsh realities of the wasteland that awaits outside the studio doors. The game will feature procedurally-generated levels, permadeath, and character classes determined by implants that can be changed.
