Xuan-Yuan Sword VII Launches

Softstar Entertainment and DOMO have released Xuan-Yuan Sword VII. The game is available now for PC via Steam worldwide and for PlayStation 4 in Asia (except for Japan). The Japanese PlayStation 4 version will launch on December 10, 2020, with a western PlayStation 4 release and an Xbox One version planned but not dated yet.

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is the latest entry in the long-running Taiwanese RPG series. Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is set in a version of China about 2000 years ago, towards the end of the Western Han dynasty. Players control Taishi Zhao, a swordsman who sets out on a journey to protect his family. The story features elements of Chinese mythology and history, with a focus on the Mohism philosophy of logic and rationality. The game’s version of Mohism has allowed its adherents to gain technological advancements ahead of their time.
