Blightbound Update Adds AI Allies

Developer Ronimo Games released a new Early Access update for online cooperative action RPG Blightbound. The main new addition in this update is the AI adventurer system, which allows solo and two-player groups to play without need to find others to fill out the three-man party. The update also adds a new playable character: the thief Seirinne.

Blightbound is a cooperative action dungeon-crawler with local and online co-op for up to three players. Each player selects a character from twenty unique heroes and descends from their mountain stronghold into the blight-infested world below. Each hero is from one of three classes: warrior, assassin, and mage. Players will be able to build up a home base with merchants and training rooms, while a bounty system offers additional bonuses. The game launched on Steam Early Access in June 2020, with those interested able to cehck out an impression of its initial Early Access version.
