Necromunda: Underhive Wars Trailer Gives Gameplay Walkthrough

A new trailer released by Focus Home Interactive turns the spotlight on gameplay in Rogue Factor’s upcoming tactical RPG Necromunda: Underhive Wars. The ten-minute video first covers character creation, where players have the ability to determine the stat allocation and appearance of each member of their chosen gang, or can apply a standardized color scheme to all of their troops. Characters of higher rank come with more experience points to allocate, but may also suffer from past injuries and wounds that will affect their prowess in battle.

The video then moves on to Operations. The game will offer a Skirmish mode for single- and multiplayer combat engagements, as well as a fifteen-mission campaign. Combat encounters are highly tactical, turn-based, and implement verticality with elevator platforms and ziplines built into the environments, as well as characters able to jump and repel off of ledges.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars is set in the Underhive below the planet Necromunda’s Hive City in the Warhammer 40k universe. The game includes solo play and four-player competitive multiplayer and is set to launch on September 8, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
