Monster Crown Now on Steam Early Access

Studio Aurum and Soedesco’s monster-taming RPG Monster Crown is now available on Steam Early Access. The Early Access version is priced at $14.99/£11.39/€14.99, with a 10% discount available until August 7, 2020. The initial version contains roughly a third of the game’s story content and the majority of its basic features. It is expected to spend six months to a year in Early Access. Soedesco held a launch stream for the game, demonstrating its gameplay.

Monster Crown is set 20 years after a group rose up and overthrew the tyrannical Philosopher Kings that ruled Crown Island. However, a woman is now seeking to get hold of the Kings’ power, with players traveling across the land and making pacts with monsters as they seek to stop her. The game features over 200 base monsters, which can be bred and fused to create brand new species. The game underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2018.
