Chained Echoes Demo Available

One-man development studio Ark Heiral has released a PC pre-alpha demo for its fantasy RPG Chained Echoes. The demo — released as part of the game’s appearance at the Indie Arena Booth for the digital Gamescom 2020 event — is available to download now on Steam, and will be available on GOG.com tomorrow, August 27, 2020.

Chained Echoes follows a group of heroes who are brought together to try and end a continental war and destroy a recently-uncovered weapon of mass destruction. The game features a turn-based combat system and no random encounters, with combat taking place on set battlefields with their own environmental elements that can be taken advantage of. The game is being published by Deck13 and is expected to launch towards the end of 2021 for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. It underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in early 2019.
