Metal Max Xeno: Reborn’s Playable Po-M, Pochi Detailed

Kadokawa Games provided more details regarding Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, its complete remake of Metal Max Xeno. The update primarily concerns the characters Po-M and Pochi, who are newly playable in Reborn.

Po-M is an artificial human with the full name Post-Human Modified Class M. She acted as a navigator in the original Metal Max Xeno but is a potential full party member in Reborn. She is unlocked as a party member once her relationship with the player is sufficiently raised through interactions. Meanwhile, Pochi the battle dog is a familiar character from the series who did not originally appear in Metal Max Xeno. Pochi can act as a special fourth party member and is unlocked by completing a certain quest. Pochi has his own skill tree and equipment, with extra skill points earned by feeding him his favourite food.

Metal Max Xeno: Reborn features a brand new game engine alongside significant changes to its systems and dungeon designs. The game is set to launch for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 10, 2020. A sequel to Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, Metal Max Xeno: Reborn 2, is also in development.
