Pathfinder: Kingmaker Coming to Consoles in August

Developer Owlcat Games and publisher Deep Silver have announced that Pathfinder: Kingmaker will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 18, 2020. Releasing physically and digitally under the full title Pathfinder: Kingmaker Definitive Edition, the console versions will include all of the DLC released for PC — The Wildcards, Varnhold’s Lot, Beneath the Stolen Lands, Bloody Mess, Arcane Unleashed, and Royal Ascension. The Definitive Edition package will also be made available digitally on PC.

To accompany the console edition, Owlcat Games is adding a turn-based combat mode to the game. Players will be able to switch between the turn-based mode and the original real-time-with-pause mode as they wish.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is an adaptation of the Kingmaker campaign from the Pathfinder tabletop ruleset and campaign setting. The game sees players taking control of and developing a barony of their own. A follow-up based on a separate campaign, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, is currently in developement.
