Neptunia Virtual Stars Receives Japanese Overview Trailer

Compile Heart released a new trailer for the upcoming Neptunia Virtual Stars, known in Japan as VVVtunia. Following the game’s theme of the Neptunia cast teaming up with VTubers (virtual YouTubers), the trailer casts Neptunia herself as a VTuber as she shows off a number of the game’s elements.

Neptunia Virtual Stars is a spin-off to the main Neptunia series focusing on the realm of idols. The game’s story takes place on planet EMO, where the group of goddesses teams up with the virtual idol group called Mewtral in order to save the digital world known as Virtual Land. The game is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on August 6, 2020. Idea Factory International will release Neptunia Virtual Stars in North America and Europe physically and digitally sometime in 2021.
