The Outer Worlds Landing on Switch in June

Obsidian Entertainment has announced the release date for The Outer Worlds on Nintendo Switch. The game will be available for purchase via physical cartridge or digital download on June 5, 2020, for $59.99. Upon installing the game there will be a day-one patch that applies hi-res textures among other improvements.

The Outer Worlds is a first-person RPG that was originally released in 2019. The story follows a player-created protagonist who wakes up after a few decades of being in frozen cryostasis and has to fill in the blanks of the lost years. The player decides how the protagonist’s story will unfold as they determine whether they are a law-abiding citizen or a delinquent who gets attacked on sight due to their bad reputation.
