The Outer Worlds Launches on Switch in March

Private Division, Obsidian Entertainment, and Virtuos Games have announced that the Nintendo Switch version of sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds will launch on March 6, 2020. The game will be available digitally priced at $59.99. A retail edition will also be available, but this will come with only a download code, not a physical cart.

The Outer Worlds is co-directed by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, two of the original creators of Fallout. The game features first-person exploration and combat, with players able to use “Tactical Time Dilation” to slow time down, as well as branching dialogue, a companion system, and setting heavily influenced by player decisions. The Outer Worlds originally launched for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in October 2019.
