The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut Receives Physical Release

A physical retail edition of inXile Entertainment’s The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut is out today for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Europe, priced at €36.99/£34.99. The edition will also be coming to North America, where it will be available from select retailers on October 11, 2019, for $39.99. The retail edition of the game includes a physical poster map as well as the following exclusive in-game items: Fire Horn, Kael’s Axe, Red Boots, and Bardic Brian Skin & Booty.

The Bard’s Tale IV: Director’s Cut is currently available digitally for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Director’s Cut version of the game includes a new end-game chapter; new items, enemies, and equipment; UI adjustments; more character creation options; additional difficulty settings; full gamepad support; and multiple other fixes and adjustments.
