Iceborne Offers Up New Subspecies

Capcom has released a new trailer for Iceborne, its upcoming expansion to Monster Hunter: World. The new trailer gives a look at the monster Glavenus along with many shots of the relaxing hot springs players will be able to visit. The company also released a twenty-minute developer diary where members of the development team go into greater detail on the new features shown in the trailer, including subspecies of monsters, the new Hoarfrost Reach base Seliana, and new upgrades for Palicos.

Iceborne marks the largest expansion for World, taking players to the frozen region of Hoarfrost Reach. It will launch on September 6, 2019, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the price of $39.99/€39.99. A Master Edition version of the game that will contain both the base game and Iceborne will also be available for the price of $59.99/€59.99. A PC version is planned for later release.
