The Outer Worlds to Release in October

Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds kicked off today’s Xbox E3 Briefing with a new trailer and a release date. The game, which is being published by Take-Two subsidiary Private Division, will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 25, 2019.

The Outer Worlds is being co-directed by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, two of the original creators of Fallout, and is a first-person single-player sci-fi RPG. Players control a colonist who awakens from hiberation on their ship heading towards the edge of the galaxy. Finding themselves involved in a conspiracy that may destroy the colony, players will deal with various factions, making choices that will affect the outcome of the story.
