Further Dragon Star Varnir Details Emerge

Idea Factory has provided new images and information regarding its upcoming PlayStation 4 RPG, Dragon Star Varnir. The game is set to release in North America on June 11, 2019, with a European release to follow shortly on June 14, 2019. A minute-long trailer that showcases the game’s battle system can also be seen below.

More images are available alongside details regarding some of the characters that Zephy, the game’s protagonist, will bump into during his travels through Varneria. Zuba is a witch who is consumed with gaining more knowledge, Nyamo is Zuba’s talkative pet cat-slash-bat creature, Cosettia is a doll who watches the Witch’s Workshop, and Gran is a knight with a strong sense of justice.

Lastly, Dragon Star Varnir will also have downloadable content in the form of additional dragons to encounter from Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes franchise. Ragnard from Trails in the Sky SC, Zoro-Agruga from Trails of Cold Steel, and True Zoro-Agruga from Trails of Cold Steel III will all be available to battle. If beaten, players will be able to access the special Dragon Core ability sets from each.
