Dauntless Fully Releasing for PC, Consoles Next Week

Phoenix Labs has announced that its free-to-play action RPG Dauntless will be released on May 21, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. All release versions of the game will feature cross-play, friend lists, matchmaking, a chat system, and the new content released in the recent Path to the Slayer update on the PC open beta. Releases for Nintendo Switch and iOS are planned for later this year.

Dauntless sees players controlling Slayers, warriors sent out to fight against beasts known as Behemoths. After defeating a Behemoth, players bring back loot and ingredients to the city of Ramsgate to use in crafting new weapons and armour, letting them take on stronger Behemoths. The game features both a main campaign and additional content the developer dubs the “Evergame”. The game has been in open beta on PC since May 2018. Phoenix Labs recently held a developer Q&A, which can be viewed below.
