Code Vein Injected with Gameplay Video

Bandai Namco has released an all-new gameplay video for its upcoming post-apocalypse-slash-vampire action RPG, Code Vein. The seven-minute video shows the protagonist in combat with several types of enemies, utilizing a variety of weapon loadouts, including both one-handed and heavy-duty two-handed swords, as well as some form of polearm. Also featured are the secondary partner characters that will accompany the player on his journey, and participate in combat as well as boss encounters with both long-range and melee attacks. Several boss fights are included in the video as well. Finally, the in-depth character creator, featuring a multitude of cosmetic and costume options, is viewable as well.

Code Vein is set in a world where a phenomenon called the Thorns of Judgment has laid waste to human civilization, with the survivors having gained supernatural abilities at the cost of suffering from a condition of severe bloodlust. Code Vein is set to be released in 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. An impending closed network test for the game was also recently announced.
