Atelier Lulua Gets to Synthesizing
Koei Tecmo has new information regarding its upcoming release Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland. The info, which comes with a new selection of English screenshots, pertains to the game’s exploration, the raw materials players will find throughout the world, and the means by which players will utilize them.
Taking on the role of Lulua Frixell, players will explore the world of Arland in in order to unlock the secrets of an ancient codex. Exploring lands both familiar and new, Lulua will also find raw materials from which to synthesize new items. As she unlocks more information regarding the codex, she will also unlock new recipes and more powerful combinations. Taking elements from both the Arland trilogy and the Mysterious trilogy, Lulua adds a new spin on the synthesis with Awakened Effects. An Awakened Effect is an ability found on certain items that can grant a secondary element to items, such as adding fire damage to a thunder bomb. The more completely Lulua explores the many locations of Arland, the rarer items she can obtain.
The Scion of Arland follows Elmerulia, known as Lulua, the daughter of Rorona and apprentice to Piana. One day she discovers a book only she can read and embarks on an adventure to learn the truth about the world of Arland. The game will arrive on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 21, 2019, in North America and in Europe on May 24, 2019.
