Monster Hunter: World’s Witcher Crossover Releases, Gets Trailer

Capcom has unveiled a trailer and some details to coincide with the release of the latest in its series of free Monster Hunter: World crossover events. This time we see Geralt of Rivia from CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher series making his way into the New World.

Hunters will join Geralt on a series of quests where they are tasked with tracking down an unknown force known as the Leshen. The quests will introduce the ability to converse with characters in order to affect the way the story progresses, in much the same way the player would in the Witcher series. Players will also be given the opportunity to wield Geralt’s silver sword and combat magic.

A harder version of the quest will become available on 15 February, 2019 for hunters of rank 50 and above. The crossover event is available for download now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The content will be coming to PC at a later date.
