Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists Delayed in Japan

Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced that the Japanese release of Atelier spin-off Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World has been delayed. Previously planned for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch on December 13, 2018, the Japanese release is now set for January 31, 2019.

Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists sees protagonist Nelke tasked with building up the village of Westwald. To help her, Nelke recruits various alchemists from across the series, including its various spin-off such as Mana Khemia. The game is still set to be released in North America and Europe in early 2019 on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Koei Tecmo and Gust also recently announced the newest mainline game for the series, Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland, which will see the series return to its Arland setting.
