Pillars of Eternity II’s Second DLC to Enter the Arena

Obsidian Entertainment has teased the second DLC for its RPG Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. The expansion — titled Seeker, Slayer, Survivor — will be primarily combat-focused and will introduce a gladiatorial arena known as the Crucible. There, players will fight against a variety of enemy encounters based on the three words in its title. Seeker encounters will require the player to find a solution to defeat an enemy. Slayer challenges will pit players against massive, unique enemies. Finally, Survivor trials will involve facing off against waves of enemies.

Seeker, Slayer, Survivor will release on September 25, 2018, for $9.99 or as part of the game’s Season Pass for $24.99. Pillars of Eternity II and its previous expansion, the Beast of Winter, are currently available on PC, Mac, and Linux. The third DLC in the Season Pass, The Forgotten Sanctum, will be released later in 2018.
