Lots of stuff coming near fall, though I’m not sure so much about the releases that are actually in fall. Shenmue I + II, Dragon Quest XI, Spider-Man, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. So a lot of stuff coming out in the next few weeks to hold my interest. Not sure I’ll be getting it all right away though. Might wait for a price drop on the last two, especially since I won’t have time to play them all right away. Shenmue and DQXI I have preordered, so those are my fall gaming picks for now.

Yakuza 2 and dragon quest 11

Thanks to the purchase of both Nintendo Classic consoles, a Switch, and two full price Monster Hunter games, my gaming budget for this year is already blown, so that means nothing new for me this Fall. I will definitely get Valkyria Chronicles 4, Dragon Quest XI, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Mega Man 11, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey next year when they’re on sale.

I’ve become a cheapskate in my old age, apparently.

  4. From what I recall, Tear Ring Saga was originally going to be called “Emblem Saga”, and apparently even had some story ties to the early Fire Emblems. You can imagine why Nintendo filed a lawsuit against the publisher.

Anyway, I’m definitely getting The World Ends with You: Final Remix as soon as it comes out. Everything else I either than wait for or not that interested in it to begin with.

QoTW: Dragon Quest 11 is a must-buy, must-play-immediately game. I have it preordered.

I’m a kickstarter backer for Bard’s Tale IV, so the only issue there is whether I’ll have time to play any PC game other than World of Warcraft.

The Persona Dancing Endless Night Collection is very tempting, as is The World Ends with You.

QoTW – Like Kelley, I have had to create a spreadsheet in order to track the fall releases.

As much as I would like to play DQ XI, I will hold off for the Switch version. Octopath Traveler has been the JRPG-experience I was looking for, so I can delay DQ without going through RPG-withdrawl.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 will be my next purchase followed by Mega Man 11, The World Ends With You: Final Remix and Diablo Eternal for the Switch.

Spiderman warrants an honorable mention, but I would like to see final reviews and some game play video before making a purchase decision. Like Dragon Quest XI, that may be delayed to 2019.

With today’s late breaking news I wanted to add the Grandia I/II HD remaster collection to the last of games I will absolutely be purchasing this year. Could not have asked for a better surprise.
